Good building practice starts with providing an effective water proofing system, despite the low cost of waterproofing, a large proportion of buildings are constructed without any waterproofing. Even if no underground water is encountered during the digging and excavation process, it is recommended to use good waterproofing systems as underground water levels may change over time and moisture may rise to reach the foundations. EMRE employs specialized consultants to design the waterproofing system in accordance with the highest specifications for each of its projects to protect the buildings basements and foundation from moisture and water leaks. |

The waterproofing system is also used under the buildings' roof tiles to protect against rain or water spillage. |
All concrete used is supplied by CEMEX, the leading readymix concrete supplier in Egypt using the latest plant and equipment. Several random samples are taken from each batch of concrete supplied to be cast into test cubes that are crushed by an independent testing agency. Extra attention is given to the building columns by increasing the cement content to increase the concrete strength to 300 kg/m2 instead of the usual specification stipulating a minimum strength of 250 kg/m2. |
All floors are flat slabs with no visible concrete beams to add flexibility and improve appearance. |

The interior design of the building entrance including marble work on walls and floors, ceilings, lighting and the security counter is designed by a European designer to create a chic ambiance to provide comfort to the tenants and inspire admiration from visitors. The foyer, in parts, is over 5 meters high giving a pleasant feeling of cool spaciousness. |
All staircases, floors and walls including landings are faced in marble, hand selected by our interior designer to give a bright and clean appearance to the building. |
Two high quality elevators (such as Schindler), each with a capacity of six passengers, installed with a modern stainless steel cabin fitted with emergency telephones. The operation of the two elevators is coordinated by a microprocessor programmed to increase their efficiency and provide a fast service to the tenants. Using an intelligent elevator control system, their efficiency can be substantially increased over elevators working individually which often both respond to the same caller. |

Preparation has been made for all air conditioning connections, electrical points, water drainage and mounting chases ready for the installation of the air conditioning equipment by flat owners. Preparing these points during the building construction enables hiding of all piping and wiring completely, both inside and outside the building to improve the building's appearance. |
High quality aluminum windows with smooth profiles for the buildings' front elevation are being used. |
Classical European design wrought iron railing has been used on the balconies and windows in the front and rear of the building. |

Design of water supply and sanitary drainage system to high standards and executed by professional specialists using strong polypropylene water supply pipes, which do not rust, have a smooth inner surface preventing sediment and are safe for human health. Durable PVC drain pipes are used which resists chemicals, weather conditions and prevent growth of bacteria and fungi. The drainage system has ventilation pipes to prevent gushing water causing a vacuum, which results in the suction of water from toilet air locks thereby preventing drain odor. |
Propylene water tanks have been installed with a smooth inner surface to prevent bacterial and fungi growth and making them easy to clean. |
The elevators are designed to reach the basement car park. The car park is finished to a high standard including floors made smooth using specialized equipment and treated with a hard floor compound containing iron powder. This tough finish provides protection against harsh use, protects car tires from excess wear and gives an attractive finish. The basement floors slope towards floor drains to enable easy cleaning. The car park ceilings are painted white and walls painted in light colors and fitted with suitable lighting to give a bright, safe environment to the tenants. |

High quality hollow bricks supplied from the best manufacturers have been used and block work has been executed by skilled master bricklayers under tight supervision to insure a high quality finish. |
Exterior façades are executed carefully to show the beauty of the balconies and decorative features of the buildings. The building façades are finished using high quality stone effect or a modern durable painting system depending on individual building design. |
